## Description

A stickman fighting game you play by typing. Every word lands a hit, every typo costs you, and the Kata drills the keys you miss. Nothing you type leaves the device.

Typekata is a fighting game you play on your keyboard.

Type the word on screen and your stickman lands a punch. String words together and the combo climbs, and so does the damage. Miss a key and you take a hit. Wait too long and the opponent lands one anyway. First to zero health loses.

Nine belts, from white to black, three opponents each. Every belt hits faster and draws from a bigger pool of words. Beat the third opponent and the belt is yours.

Three ways to train:
Fight: the ladder.
Sparring: a timed round of 30, 60 or 90 seconds with no stakes. The classic typing test with a stickman.
Kata: a drill built from the three keys you miss most, so the practice aims where it matters.

After every fight:
Words a minute, accuracy and best combo.
A keyboard heat map, every key coloured by how often you miss it.
What the numbers say, in plain words: where the combo broke, which keys cost you, what one change would do.
With Apple Intelligence, a coach note: three specific tips and a Kata prescription, written on your device.

Progress keeps your speed and accuracy trends, your all-time heat map, your belts, your streak and your last fights. A Home Screen widget shows your best speed and drops you into the next fight.

Works with your thumbs on iPhone and with a hardware keyboard on iPad. Autocorrect, predictions and smart punctuation are off during a fight, so what you press is what the fight judges. A short interactive tutorial gets you into your first fight in under a minute.

Private by design. Typekata has no account, no analytics and no networking code at all. What you type in a fight is compared to the word and dropped; only your scores and per-key stats are kept, on your device.

Requires iOS 26. The coach note needs Apple Intelligence; everything else works without it.
