Turn a newly captured photo into a measurement record you can revisit and share. SnapDim helps you record planar objects, furniture panels and DIY parts on a LiDAR-capable iPhone.

CAPTURE AND MEASURE
Take a photo, select an object to detect its outline, and add dimensions. Add a two-point distance whenever you want to mark a specific edge.

REFINE THE RESULT
Zoom in, adjust annotation endpoints and keep several dimensions in the same photo. Switch between millimeters, centimeters, inches and decimal feet.

SAVE AND SHARE
Keep records on your iPhone, reopen them for edits and share an annotated image. The photo shows which edge each dimension belongs to, so the number keeps its context. Photos and measurement calculations stay on your device.

DEVICE AND MEASUREMENT REQUIREMENTS
Real capture requires a LiDAR-capable iPhone and iOS 17 or later. Use clear, planar surfaces and place each measurement’s endpoints on the same surface. Capture guidance helps you frame the shot; measurements require usable depth data. Reflective or transparent surfaces, occlusion and camera pose can affect results. Check critical dimensions with a physical measuring tool. This version starts with in-app capture; importing existing photos for calibration is not supported.

FREE SAMPLE AND PURCHASES
Explore the included sample for free. New real captures require an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. Both options provide the same full measurement access. Eligible annual subscribers receive a 7-day free trial after confirming the subscription, followed by automatic yearly renewal. Prices and eligibility are shown by the App Store. Cancel renewal in Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before the current trial or subscription ends. Lifetime access does not renew and does not automatically cancel an existing annual subscription. Existing saved records remain viewable, editable and exportable after subscription expiry.
