Alien Keyboard translates as you type — in whatever app you are already in.

Write your message, press Translate, and the text is replaced with its translation. That is the whole idea.

TRANSLATION THAT NEVER LEAVES YOUR IPHONE
Translation runs on the device itself. What you type is never sent over the internet — not to us, not to anyone. Each language pair downloads once, and after that it works with no connection at all.

20 LANGUAGES
English, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.

A COMPLETE KEYBOARD
• Word suggestions that learn the names and words you actually use
• Emoji panel, with the ones you reach for most kept to hand
• Clipboard history — the last ten things you copied, encrypted on your iPhone
• Light and dark themes, or follow the system
• Adjustable key size
• Twenty key sound packs, all of them gentle, and haptics
• Latin and Arabic-script layouts, with right-to-left laid out properly

SPEAK INSTEAD OF TYPING
Open the app, speak, and the translation comes back ready to copy. There is also a conversation screen: two people, one iPhone, each speaking their own language, with every reply read aloud.

PRIVACY
We have no server. Nothing you type reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go. Your clipboard history is encrypted on your iPhone and never leaves it.
