## Description

PowerCue Companion turns your iPhone or iPad into a wireless teleprompter screen for PowerCue on your Mac. Open the app on the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac and your script appears instantly. The companion stays in perfect lock-step with PowerCue: the same line breaks, the same styling, the same paragraph spacing, the same karaoke highlight, the same timer.

FOLLOWS YOUR VOICE
PowerCue listens as you read and keeps the next line at the marker. Pause and it waits for you. Ad-lib and it picks you up at your next written line. Stumble and start the line again, and it jumps back to it. The companion screen scrolls right along with it.

CONTROL THE PROMPTER FROM THE PHONE
Tap the screen for the on-screen controls: start and stop voice following, play and pause the timed scroll, go back to the top, and jump to the previous or next marker. Scroll the script by hand and PowerCue on the Mac follows your finger, then picks up listening from wherever you stopped.

USE THE PHONE AS THE MICROPHONE
Pick "iPhone/iPad Microphone" in PowerCue and the device in front of you drives the voice following. Speech is recognized entirely on the device; on iOS 26 it uses Apple's newest on-device engine, which needs nothing more than the microphone permission. If a call takes the microphone, PowerCue on the Mac is told, and listening resumes on its own.

• Karaoke highlight as colored text or a pill, matching the Mac
• On-screen timer, mirrored from the Mac
• Mirror flips for beam-splitter rigs
• Marker arrow on the left or the right, sized like the Mac's
• Stays awake while it is the prompter
• Ping from the Mac to find the right device
• Reconnects on its own when you come back

Everything happens over your local network. Your script, your voice, and your audio are never uploaded anywhere.
