## Description

One ball. One paddle. Three lives.

The ball speeds up with every hit. After seventy hits it is three times as fast as it started, and no faster — faster would not be harder, only unfair.

From 60 hits the paddle begins to shrink. By 110 it is a little under half its starting width, and there it stays.

From 40 hits a second ball joins, from 85 a third, from 130 a fourth. Each one slows down in return: two balls at the speed of one are not hard, they are impossible. If you would rather keep to a single ball, switch it off before you start.

There is a block at the top for the ball to bounce off. On an iPhone with a Dynamic Island it sits exactly beneath it — the ball then bounces off the cutout itself.

Three lives. You do not get one back. After every ball you lose it counts down from three before play resumes.
