## Description

No audio files: every drum is synthesised the moment the app opens. No account, no ads, no tracking. Nothing leaves your phone.

drumn is a drum machine and a sampler on one screen, made for one hand and one orientation.

PROGRAM
Six voices: kick, snare, closed hat, open hat, clap, tom.
Four bars of sixteen steps, shown eight and eight so a bar fits your thumb.
Five kits: classic, hard, deep, dirty, 8bit.
Four patterns to start from - 16beat, 8beat, jazz, dance - and four empty slots for your own.
Long press a step to change its tone. Four settings per step, used instead of velocity.
Mute or solo any voice. Double tap a bar to loop that bar alone.
40 to 240 bpm. Tap the top or bottom of the number, or drag it.

RECORD
Sixteen pads, held as two banks of eight.
Up to four seconds each, straight from the microphone.
Recording begins the moment sound arrives, and the silence before it is trimmed for you.
Levels are matched automatically, so pads sit together without fiddling.
Hold and loop, per pad.

PLAY
A crossfader between the drums and the pads.
Change screens with the toggle or a swipe - nothing already sounding is cut off.
Your patterns save themselves. There is no save button.

NO AUDIO FILES
Every drum is synthesised when the app opens. Nothing is sampled and nothing is downloaded, which is why the app is so small.

QUIET ABOUT YOU
No account. No advertising. No analytics. No tracking. drumn has no way of sending anything anywhere, and your recordings stay on your device.
The microphone is used only while recording into a pad. Decline it and the drum machine still works in full.

A note on volume: drumn does not obey the silent switch. It is an instrument, so sounding takes priority. Use the volume buttons and the knob.
