## Description

A word on your Home screen every morning. Tap to hear it, swipe through today's set, and keep the streak without really opening anything.

Wordkeep gives you a few English words a day — the ones just past what you already know.

It starts by finding your level. A ninety-second test shows you words and asks which you know. Salted through it are words that do not exist. Nobody can know those, so what you claim about them measures how much you are guessing, and that gets subtracted out. The result is an estimate of how many words you know, and a starting level that is honest rather than flattering.

After that, the words you see sit one band above your own. Not words you already know. Not words years out of reach.

WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE
Three, five or ten words — you choose. Swipe up through them like a feed. Tap to hear a word read aloud. Pull up the examples to see it used in real sentences. Mark it known and it never comes back; save it and it waits in your list.

A widget on your Home screen shows the day's word without opening anything.

WHAT IS IN IT
- 14,000 words, ordered by how common they actually are
- 75,000 example sentences — around six per word
- Pronunciation for almost every word, spoken and in IPA
- Fourteen difficulty bands, from everyday English to genuinely rare
- Streaks, a daily goal, and stats that show which bands you have covered

IT WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Everything is on your phone. The whole word list ships inside the app, so the feed, the audio, the search and the widget all work in a tunnel, on a plane, or with mobile data switched off.

THERE IS NO ACCOUNT
No sign-up, no email, no password. Nothing you do is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to — Wordkeep has no server. Your progress lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.

Pro opens all fourteen bands, unlimited saved words, your full history rather than the last week, every example sentence, and the other voices your device has.

Definitions come from Princeton's WordNet, example sentences from the Tatoeba project, and pronunciation from Carnegie Mellon's CMUdict. Full credits are in Settings.
