UBak saves the original photos and videos from your iPhone straight to your own USB-C drive or SSD. No servers, no accounts, nothing leaves your hands.

Why originals
· Unmodified HEIC, JPEG and video files — no compression, no re-encoding
· Live Photos are saved as a photo + video pair and come back as one Live Photo
· Camera-style names (IMG_1234.HEIC) so the Photos app's Import recognizes them — restore or move to a new iPhone without any other software

· Swipe to select, drag across rows
· Grouped by day; tick a whole day, or pick days and months from a calendar
· Long-press to preview; select A, then F, then "Select to here"
· Smooth even with tens of thousands of photos

Backups you can trust
· Every file is verified after writing; if it doesn't match, it doesn't count
· Unplugged the drive, locked the phone, closed the app, drive full? Plug back in and it resumes — finished items are never copied twice
· Drive full? Swap in another and continue
· Dims the screen while backing up, without locking

Your photos stay yours
· Works fully offline. No account. Nothing is uploaded, ever
· The only permission is photo access; you authorize the drive in the system file picker

Requires an iPhone with USB-C (iPhone 15 or later), iOS 17 or later, and a standard exFAT USB-C drive or SSD (some SSDs need external power).
