## Description

Bear Alert is a companion tool that helps you warn your surroundings and call attention during bear encounters and other emergencies.

Use loud alarm sounds, a flashing strobe, silent emergency recording, and location sharing to alert those around you and document the situation.

- Playback that follows your device volume

- Repeat options: continuous, 15s, 30s, 1 min, or random
- Background playback (Pro)

Bear Alert Pro (one-time purchase) unlocks:
- Background playback
- Emergency recording
- Location notification

Emergency recording starts only when you enable it, captures video without audio, and saves it to your photo library. Recording status is shown on screen.

Location notification prepares an email containing your current location to a contact you set in advance. You review and send the message yourself in Apple Mail.
