## Description

A kanji, kana character, or travel phrase on your Lock Screen — with reading, romaji, and meaning. It changes through the day. No account, no ads, no network.

Hitaru puts Japanese where you already look.

Add the widget to your Lock Screen, Home Screen, or StandBy and it shows one thing at a time — a kanji, a kana character, or a travel phrase — with its reading, its romaji, and what it means. It changes through the day on a schedule you set: every 15 or 30 minutes, a new item.

There is nothing to do. No streak to keep, no notification, no session to start. You just pass the same words often enough, in the ordinary moments of checking the time, that they start to stick. When one catches your eye, tap it: the app opens that item with example sentences and a fuller breakdown.

• Kana — the full hiragana and katakana tables
• JLPT N5 through N1 — kanji and vocabulary, about 10,000 items
• Travel — practical phrases for shops, restaurants, trains, and hotels

Pick one group or mix several; their words are shuffled together on the widget. Everything is bundled in the app.

Hitaru makes no network connections — not for content, not for updates, not for analytics. It works in airplane mode, forever. Nothing you do is collected, transmitted, or stored anywhere. No account, no ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
