## Description

Encrypted on your iPhone before anything is sent. No account, no server, no network connection - the key stays sealed inside the security chip.

Encrypted before it leaves your device.

Cryptogramm turns your message into a block of characters that you can paste into any messenger, any e-mail and any note. The service you write through never sees your plain text – it carries random characters only. It becomes readable on one device alone: the one whose owner holds the same key.

The difference to encrypted messengers: you never have to talk anyone into switching apps. Your message is protected before it reaches WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Instagram, Discord or your mail program.

NO NETWORK. NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVER.

Switch on airplane mode – everything keeps working: encrypting, decrypting, reading codes, writing to a dead drop. The app contains no networking code – there is nowhere for anything to flow. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier.

SEALED BY YOUR iPHONE'S SECURITY CHIP

Your key lives in the device keychain, encrypted with a key that never leaves the Secure Enclave. It is bound to this one iPhone – not readable, not copyable. A stolen storage image is worthless on any other device.

Access only after Face ID or the device passcode. No iCloud backup, no sync. The key is never shown to you in the clear.

WHY NOW (as of September 2026)

Since late July 2026 a temporary EU rule lets providers scan private messages automatically – without a court order, for now until April 2028. End-to-end encrypted messengers are exempt. Everything else is not: e-mail, SMS, direct messages on social networks, cloud folders.

What never arrives in the clear cannot be searched – not today, and not after any future change.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Create a key and hand it over in person only – by QR pairing, NFC sticker or AirDrop, secured with a one-time code.
2. Type your message, tap "Encrypt", copy the block, paste it into your messenger.
3. To read it, paste the block – or tap "Share" in the chat and choose "Decrypt with Cryptogramm". The app finds the key itself.

Up to 5,000 characters, all languages and emoji. Surrounding chat text does no harm.

EVEN WITHOUT A NETWORK

Optical code: a pattern of dots you can copy onto paper by hand. Read with the camera. Latin and Cyrillic script; characters it cannot render are reported beforehand. Plus a printable A4 sheet with four blank cards to keep in stock. For messages that should take no digital route at all.

Dead drop: leave an encrypted message on an NFC sticker; the other side collects it later. Up to 900 characters, with a timestamp, your own label and an encrypted sender name. The sticker can be overwritten at will.

WHAT IS INSIDE

• Key derivation with Argon2id, cipher on HMAC-SHA256
• Every message carries its own random value and seal – a wrong key means "no match", never a wrong plain text
• Screenshots of the content are blocked
• A three-word key fingerprint to read aloud – so you know you both hold the same key
• Self-destruct at an exact moment; once fixed it cannot be moved, and it deletes without replacement
• Emergency wipe: one tap, or press the lock screen for three seconds – without confirmation

HONESTLY

Cryptogramm hides what you write – not that you write. Who, when and with whom: that metadata stays visible to your messenger. An encrypted block stands out in a chat; if you need to be inconspicuous, use the optical code or the dead drop. Whoever later gets hold of your key can open older messages too – so give keys a deadline. Both sides need the app and the same key.

We promise nothing we cannot keep.

One-time purchase. No subscription, no data collection.
