XBInterpreter is a speech-to-speech interpretation app for multilingual meetings, talks, interviews, travel, and everyday conversations. As someone speaks, the app produces source captions, translated captions, and interpreted audio so you can listen through headphones and save a bilingual record. CONTINUOUS SPEECH-TO-SPEECH INTERPRETATION Start microphone interpretation to receive source text, translated text, and interpreted speech throughout the session. Interpreted audio plays only through headphones, Bluetooth headsets, USB audio, or another private output, helping prevent speaker audio from feeding back into the microphone. BILINGUAL LIVE CAPTIONS Follow timestamped source and translated captions in order. Switch between bilingual, translation-only, and source-only display modes without stopping the interpretation session. TWO-WAY CONVERSATION INTERPRETATION Press and hold the active speaker button, speak, then release to receive translated text and interpreted audio. It is designed for directions, reception, interviews, and turn-by-turn conversations. SUPPORTED LANGUAGE PAIRS Choose pairs with Chinese or English on one side, covering Chinese, English, German, French, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, and Portuguese. Available combinations are shown in the app's Interpretation Language screen. SAVE AUDIO AND BILINGUAL RECORDS Save the source recording, successfully generated interpreted audio, source text, translations, timestamps, and bookmarks. During playback, review audio and captions together, then search, copy, share, or export the content you need. AI SUMMARIES AND MORE TRANSLATION TOOLS Create an AI summary from a saved interpretation record only when you request it. You can also import audio or video for transcription, recognize and translate text in images, and translate saved records that do not already contain translations. MEMBERSHIP AND INTERPRETATION MINUTES New users receive 10 interpretation minutes with no automatic charge. The auto-renewing Weekly Pass includes 500 minutes per week; the price, currency, and renewal details appear on the App Store purchase sheet. Each user-started session is rounded up to whole minutes, and unused weekly minutes do not carry over. If an active Weekly Pass reaches zero minutes, a one-time reset can restore the current cycle to 500 minutes without extending the subscription. PRIVACY AND USE Live interpretation requires the internet and sends the source audio you choose to capture, plus required protocol information, to Volcano Engine's Doubao live-interpretation service to generate captions, translations, and interpreted audio. AI Summary sends the current transcript only after you explicitly request generation. File transcription, image text recognition, and Apple system translation use device and system capabilities. No developer account is required; interpretation allowance records sync through your private iCloud database. Automatic speech recognition and translation may contain omissions or errors and can be affected by connectivity, audio quality, noise, accent, speaking speed, and third-party service availability.
