## Description

One number and a button. Five pages you swipe between: clock, stopwatch, countdown, interval and nothing that wants an account, a streak, or a tree you have to keep alive

Loop is a study timer that shows the time instead of taking it.

Five full-screen pages, swiped between, and nothing else: a clock, a stopwatch, a countdown, an interval timer for focus and break blocks, and a settings page that fits on one screen.

ONE THING TO LOOK AT

The whole app has a single progress indicator — a block of colour that rises from the bottom of the screen as time runs out. No rings, no bars, no percentage. Everything it passes through is redrawn so it stays readable against it.

INTERVALS THAT GET OUT OF THE WAY

Set a focus length, a break length and a number of rounds. Loop runs them and tells you where you are. One tone when a block ends, a different one when the next begins, so you can tell them apart without looking at the screen. Breaks can be skipped. Focus blocks cannot — that is the point of them.

IT KEEPS TIME PROPERLY

Every timer works out where it is from a timestamp rather than counting seconds, so a countdown survives being backgrounded, the screen locking, or the app being closed entirely. Start one, put the phone down, come back an hour later: it is right.

Countdowns run from one minute to thirty hours, in one-minute steps up to two hours and five-minute steps beyond.

ON THE LOCK SCREEN

Countdowns and intervals appear on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, counting on their own without draining anything.

NOTHING ELSE

No account. No sign-up. No streak to break. No leaderboard, no badges, no tree that dies when you check a message, and no subscription to keep any of it alive. Loop never connects to the internet, because there is nothing it would have to say.

Four accent colours, light and dark, iPhone and iPad, portrait and landscape.
