Never run before? The new beginner path mixes running and walking, by time and with no pace targets, up to 30 minutes non-stop. Your plan adapts to you, run after run.

AdaptiveRun is a running coach for iPhone and Apple Watch, made for anyone preparing for a race with a plan that is simple, realistic, and adaptive.

Set your goal: choose the distance, the race date, your target time, and how many sessions you can fit in each week. AdaptiveRun builds a structured plan, sends the workouts to the Workout app on Apple Watch, and reads from Apple Health what you actually did.

After every run, the app compares the planned workout with the recorded data: distance, duration, pace, splits, intervals, and heart rate when available. You only add the subjective feedback, such as perceived effort, any pain, or a note.

The plan adapts cautiously and explainably: if you are going well it can progress, and if fatigue builds up it can maintain, reduce, or suggest recovery. AdaptiveRun also tells you when a goal looks too ambitious or unrealistic for the time available.

Both unlock the same features. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage it and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
