## Description

A harbour, a deck of gags, and nine rivals who want the bay.

Anchor Bay is a turn-based cartoon duel. You drop into one place — the battleground square, a working harbour of shopfronts, crates, pilings and lamps — and you fight for it, one rival at a time.

FIGHT WITH GAGS, NOT STATS
Forty-nine gags across seven tracks: patch a crewmate up with Rations, stop a rival cold with a Booby Trap, walk one out of position with Bait, rattle it with a Racket, then Hurl, Douse or Drop something heavy on it. Every gag is a card in your hand, every card has an accuracy and a damage number, and the order you play them in is the whole fight — a lured rival takes more, a trapped one takes it all at once, and a missed throw is a turn your rival gets for free.

LEVEL THE DECK, NOT THE CHARACTER
Cards go from level 1 to level 10. Each upgrade buys either more damage or more accuracy, and you choose which — so two players with the same gag can have very different cards. Beans pay for upgrades, and wins pay beans.

NINE RIVALS, EACH WITH THEIR OWN BOOK
Bilge Rats, Barkers, Cabin Boys, Turncoats and Commodore Grand, each with their own attacks, their own reach and their own health as they climb the rungs. They fight the way you do: a rival's attack book is built from the same rules as your pouch, so nothing it does to you is something you could not do back.

A TROPHY ROAD THAT CHANGES THE FIGHT
Trophies do not just count your wins — they size the rivals' health, damage and accuracy, on both sides of the board. Climbing means the fights get harder in a way you can read.

CHESTS
Wins pay out chests, chests pay out cards, and the card you get is the one you will actually hold.

Every model and every sound effect in Anchor Bay is open-licence and credited in the app. The music is four CC0 tracks. The harbour's material maps were painted by a program written for this game.
