Point your camera at something you like. Dupely reads the photo, tells you what the product is, and names cheaper alternatives — with what makes each one close, and where it falls short.

WHAT YOU GET

Photograph a product, or just type its name. Dupely identifies it and describes it properly: the notes in a fragrance, the finish of a lipstick, the leather and hardware of a bag, the sole of a shoe. You can check it read the right thing before you trust anything else it says.

Then it names up to three alternatives that cost less. Each one comes with two paragraphs that matter more than the price: why it is close, and where it is not. A cheaper scent that shares the opening but loses the drydown. A bag with the same silhouette that slumps when it is empty. That is the difference between a recommendation and a list.

Sometimes the honest answer is that nothing comes close. Dupely says so rather than filling the space.

NO ACCOUNT

There is no sign-up, no password, no email address. Your scans stay tied to an anonymous identifier on your device, and one tap in Settings deletes every one of them along with the photos.

IN YOUR LANGUAGE

English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. The answers are written in the language you choose, not translated after the fact. Prices are shown in dollars with your local currency underneath.
