Every recording runs through live tape-era degradation — tracking artifacts, wobble, and signal drift, happening as you shoot, not applied after the fact. Play it back through the CRT mode and it looks like it's coming off an old television, not off your phone.

There's no traditional editing — no trimming, no cutting, no rearranging clips. But you can do what a real camcorder always let you do: rewind into the middle of a take and record right over it. Drop a 10-second clip into the middle of a minute-long recording and it overwrites what was there, tape-style — no undo, no safety net, just the next take living where the old one used to be.

Every recording has a hard length limit, like a real tape running out. When it's done, it's done — no infinite scroll, no bottomless camera roll, just a tape that ends.
