For the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong, ATIS comes from official government sources. 
At other airports you get the latest digital copy published open source. 

Below ATIS, a worst-wind strip and a runway-condition line give you the picture at a glance. 
Both are unofficial estimates, of course. 

Amsterdam (EHAM) goes further: with Schiphol flight board and CDM slot times. 
Delay notifications can be set. 

ADS-B is a public map of nearby aircraft, right below your touchscreen.

No account. No ads. Your pins stay on the device. Dim and bright themes for clear delivery anytime. 

This app is for education and situational awareness. It is not a source for flight operations, dispatch, or legal weather. 
The author assumes no liability.

GearUp4U relies on open-source data and sometimes does not get position updates at locations where there are gaps in ADS-B reception. 
Alerts may be delayed for several minutes.
When you click on the Live Activities and open the map, the aircraft is shown in its currently known position.
