Hear a hum, buzz, or rattle you can't place? EchoFind identifies the sound on-device and helps you walk to its source. Private by design — audio never leaves your phone.

EchoFind helps you track down the mystery sounds in your home — the hum behind a wall, the buzz from an outlet, the rattle you can hear but can't find.

IDENTIFY
Tap once and EchoFind listens, then names what it hears from a library of common household sounds — appliances, motors, water, HVAC, alarms, and everyday ambient and human sounds. Classification runs entirely on your device in real time.

LOCATE
Can't tell where a sound is coming from? Start Locate and walk slowly through the room. EchoFind tracks your path with your phone's motion sensors and builds a simple heatmap showing where the sound is loudest — guiding you toward its source.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your audio never leaves your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, and no tracking. Sounds are analyzed on your iPhone and discarded. Motion data stays on your device too. (See our privacy policy.)

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CAN DO
EchoFind reliably detects common ambient, biological, and human sounds. Detection of specialty mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical sounds is experimental in this release and clearly labeled as such in the app — treat those results as hints, not conclusions.
