## Description

A few questions, never the same twice. Real picks from TMDb, synced with your Letterboxd so nothing repeats. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

Not sure what to watch tonight? Flicker asks a short, different round of questions each time, then recommends two or three real films that fit the mood, pulled live from TMDb's catalog rather than a fixed list.

HOW IT WORKS
Answer a handful of quick questions about mood, time, company, and era. The set changes session to session, so it never feels like the same quiz twice. Flicker turns your answers into one search and hands back two or three picks, each with a plain reason why it was chosen.

WHAT ELSE IT DOES
- Never repeats a film you've already marked watched, or shown you in the last several sessions
- Not loving a pick? Swap any single card for another match, no need to start over
- In a rush? Surprise Me skips the quiz and picks for you
- Connect a public Letterboxd username and Flicker reads your recent diary, so films you've already logged won't come back around
- Skip New Releases keeps films from the last year out of the mix, since they may still only be in cinemas
- Save a pick for later, or mark it watched with one tap (undo included, in case of a mis-tap)
- See where to stream each pick, based on your region
- Recommendations lean gently toward your taste over time, based on what you've watched and saved, without ever locking you into one genre

TWO THINGS WORTH KNOWING
This app runs on TMDb. All film data, posters, ratings, and streaming availability come from The Movie Database's free API. This product uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.

Letterboxd sync is unofficial. Letterboxd has no public API for this feature. Flicker reads a public diary feed with your permission. It covers recent activity, not a full watched history, and could change if Letterboxd's feed does.

No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Everything Flicker remembers about you stays on your device.
