## Description

Your files, on your device, and nowhere else. Free, no account, no ads — and it makes no network connections at all.

LOUD plays the music files you already own. No cloud, no account, no ads, no subscription — and no network connections of any kind.

Point it at a folder and that is your library: your MP3s and FLACs with their real tags and covers, read from the files themselves. Browse by album, artist, genre or track, jump by letter, build playlists, shape the sound with a five-band EQ, and watch an 8-bit spectrum bounce over the album sleeve.

WHAT IT DOES
• Plays MP3 and FLAC with full tags and embedded cover art (M4A/AAC and WAV too)
• Reads one folder you choose — subfolders included, new files found automatically
• Has its own folder in the Files app: drag music in from Finder over a cable, AirDrop it, or use any file tool you like
• Playlists — LOUD calls them posters — built from tracks, whole albums, artists or genres
• A queue you can see and reorder: what plays next is always the truth, shuffle included
• A five-band equalizer with presets, wired into the actual audio path
• An 8-bit spectrum analyzer drawn over the sleeve, measured from the sound
• Gapless playback, and crossfade if you want it
• Lock screen and Control Center transport, background playback
• THE TAGS: every field inside a file, and where each value came from — so a wrongly named track can be diagnosed, not guessed at

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• No account, no sign-up, nothing to subscribe to
• No analytics, no telemetry, no artwork lookup, not even an update check
• Nothing is collected and nothing is transmitted
• Your library index sits in an encrypted database on your device

Music used to be a thing you kept. LOUD is built on the idea that it still is: your files, on your device, and nowhere else.
