Memory Photo Rescue is an app that fixes up old photos automatically—just pick a photo. Easily look back at faded family photos or black-and-white childhood pictures. Black-and-white photos can also be enjoyed in color estimated by AI.

Photos you load, analysis results, and processed images are never sent to external servers for image processing. No account registration is required.
※Communication does occur for App Store purchases, purchase verification and restoration, downloading AI models from Apple, and displaying web pages such as Terms of Use and Support.

・Auto cropping: Automatically detects photo edges and frames, straightens, and crops
・Faded color correction: Automatically adjusts yellowing and fading
・Automatic scratch repair: Automatically repairs scratches the app can detect
・AI face enhancement: Enhances faces that appear at a sufficient size
・AI colorization (estimated): Estimates colors for black-and-white photos with AI

■ About repair and colorization
・Scratch repair is automatic detection only; there is no brush for manual retouching
・Scratches that cannot be detected, or parts lost to damage, may be impossible to restore
・Colorization colors are AI estimates and do not guarantee actual or historically accurate colors
・Very small faces are excluded from enhancement to avoid unnatural results. Even then, if a repairable scratch is detected, scratch repair is still performed

On first use of AI features, or after iOS reorganizes data, the AI models are downloaded from Apple. Colorization is about 620MB; enhancement and scratch repair are about 335MB. Wi-Fi is recommended. Photos are never sent during model download.
