## Description

Poker Cliff Rush
Poker Cliff Rush is a vertical speed-climbing race up a red sandstone face. Every hold on the wall is a playing card wedged into a crack, and a stopwatch hangs from the summit anchor. There is no health bar and no enemies — only the clock, the rock, and how honest the cards turn out to be.

Climbing — Tap Rhythm
Speed climbing is the core movement. Alternate the LEFT and RIGHT grip pads to swap hands up the line. The steadier your rhythm, the higher your tempo multiplier climbs and the faster you rise. Mash the same pad twice or drift out of the beat and the hand comes off the rock.

• Tap the pad matching the highlighted hold

• Clean, even intervals build TEMPO

• Wrong hand: grip loss and a time penalty

• Grip bleeds while you hang — chalk up to reset it

Dyno — Long-Press Jump
Some spans of the face are blank rock with nothing to hold. Crossing them needs a dyno: a dynamic all-points-off leap. Press and hold a grip pad to load power, watch the charge sweep across the meter, and release inside the green landing band. The window is narrow and it does not forgive.

• Hold to charge, release in the green band

• Stick it: tempo bonus and grip back

• Miss it: you drop three holds and eat two seconds

• Climbing shoes widen the landing window

Rappel — Swipe Descent
Topping out is not the end of the lap. You rope down the same face on rappel, and the clock is still live. Swipe left or right to swing your body clear of the rock bulges rushing past. Clip one and you lose time you already earned on the way up.

• Swipe across a grip pad to swing sides

• Each bulge you clip adds time

• Better shoes mean a wider swing arc

Elimination — Same-Suit Flush
The cards are not decoration. Grab three holds of the same suit back to back and that run of holds is cleared off the wall in a burst of pips — and where the cards went, one extra rock-solid hold grows in their place. It is the only way to make the face easier than the route builder left it.

• Three same-suit grabs in a row = clear

• The clear plants a guaranteed-solid hold above

• Clears shave time and pay chips

Memory Pressure — Dead Cards
This is what makes the wall different: pushing upward and remembering at the same time. A share of the holds are dead cards — fakes that look identical until your weight is on them. Grab a dead card and you drop a whole section of the line. On the hardest routes a third of the wall is lying to you, so the only defence is remembering which faces you have already seen.
