Decibel Meter & Sound Spectrum turns your iPhone or iPad into a visual sound-analysis workspace for sound engineers, DJs, venue technicians, musicians, and anyone who wants to understand what they hear.

CONTROL ROOM FOR IPAD

See six instruments at once from the same microphone stream: SPL/Leq/Lmin/Lmax, 1/3-octave RTA, FFT, level history, waterfall, and dose. Tap Expand for a larger view, then Close to return to the grid. Compact iPhone layouts present one instrument at a time.

The interface adapts to the available space, including large and resizable screens, Split View, and Stage Manager. Its responsive layout is ready for future dual-screen display formats.

Apple Watch is a remote for the iPhone session only. It does not use the Watch microphone and does not use HealthKit.

IMPORTANT ACCURACY LIMITS

Phone and tablet microphones are not certified sound-level instruments. Readings are estimates unless you calibrate against a trusted reference. This app does not claim IEC/ANSI Type 1 or Type 2 compliance and is not a certified dosimeter or a substitute for required occupational-safety equipment.

Choose monthly or annual Spectrum Pro, or a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. U.S. pricing is $6.99 per month, $49.99 per year, or $79.99 Lifetime; the purchase screen always shows Apple's current localized price before you buy. Existing Lifetime purchases remain unlocked, and an unexpired legacy Seven-Day Pro Pass remains honored.

Monthly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of its current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings.

PRIVACY

Microphone audio is analyzed on the device and is not recorded or uploaded. Optional iCloud backup is off by default and uses your private iCloud database. No tracking.
