Lazro is my Siberian husky. He is in all three: asleep on the rug behind the mahjong board, ringside at the chess fights, and the dog you play as in Zoomies. No account, no sign-up, nothing to buy. MAHJONG Classic tiles. Endless boards. Match pairs of free tiles to clear the board. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and one side is open. - Levels never run out. They are generated as you play and get harder as you go. - Every board can be finished. Each one is built backwards from a solved position, so a winning path exists before you see it. - Rewind any mistake. Drag the timeline under the board to step back through your own moves, one at a time or many at once, then carry on from there. No lives, no penalties. - A daily challenge. One board a day, the same deal for everyone, with a streak to keep. - Nine board shapes, including the classic 144-tile turtle, or Surprise Me for a different one each level. - Three tile sets: the traditional mahjong faces, sixteen animals, or tiles you draw yourself. - Hints when you want one, a shuffle that keeps a stuck board solvable, and a zen mode that hides the timer and score. - Lazro sleeps on the rug behind the table. He gets up now and then, wanders, and settles back down. He can never get in the way of a tile. CHESS CLASH Captures aren't taken. They're won. Move like chess. When one piece takes another, both drop into an arena and settle it in a real-time fight you play yourself. - Win the fight and the square is yours. Lose it and your attacker dies on its own doorstep. - Castling, en passant and promotion are all here. There is no check: nothing is forbidden and nothing is safe, and the game ends when a king actually dies. - Two thumbs, two jobs against the computer: the left half blocks and dodges, the right half strikes. In two-player you get a half each. - Blocks stop strikes. Heavies smash through blocks. Dodges beat heavies, and the miss is your free hit. - Six fighters with their own specials. Wounds stay with a piece between fights, so a hurt king is worth hunting. - Play the computer at easy, normal or hard, or hand the phone to a friend and fight on one screen. - Lazro watches from ringside and howls at every knockout. He never fights, and he never gets hurt. - These fights are violent and they draw blood. That is the one reason the whole app is rated 17+. ZOOMIES Run with Lazro. Don't stop. Three lanes of snow that bend away ahead of you. Swipe up to jump a ridge, down to duck a fallen log, left or right to go round a rock. - Bones recruit a sled team. Each husky behind you takes one crash instead of ending the run, and a full team of three hooks up a sled. - Nothing unfair reaches the track. Before a set of obstacles appears, the game proves there is a way through it from every lane. - Twelve kinds of obstacle window, and it gets harder the further you go. A blizzard rolls in at 150 metres. - While you run, the only control on screen is Pause. Nothing that ends your run sits under your thumb. - Records for your furthest run and your best haul of bones. - Nobody gets hurt. Lazro spins out in a burst of snow and stays on his feet. YOUR PROGRESS IS SAFE Your levels, streak, drawn tiles, saved games and records are kept in your own private iCloud, with no account and no sign-up. Delete the app or get a new phone and they come back with you. One switch turns it off, and the games play the same either way. THE REST - Free.
