## Description

Finds the duplicates, screen recordings and dead screenshots eating your storage, then shows you exactly what you'd get back. Runs entirely on your device.

Your phone is full, and it's never the photos you meant to keep — it's five near-identical shots of the same moment, a screen recording from months ago, and the screenshot you took to remember something and never deleted. Margin finds all of it and shows you exactly what you'd get back before anything is touched.

SEE THE SPACE BEFORE YOU FREE IT
Margin groups near-identical photos into sets, picks the strongest frame in each one, and lets you review the rest at a glance — a full contact sheet per set, not one photo at a time. Screen recordings, expired screenshots (sorted by the text in them), and exact duplicate files are
each their own category, so you know exactly where your storage is going.

OR COMPRESS INSTEAD OF DELETE
Long videos and large images over a size you choose can be re-encoded in place instead of removed — picked individually or as a batch, tracked from a compression tray. Camera, date and location metadata survive exactly as they were.

NOTHING IS EVER PERMANENT
Every deletion goes through your device's own Recently Deleted album — recoverable until you empty it yourself, exactly as if you'd deleted the photo in Photos. Nothing Margin suggests touches anything you've already favorited, edited, or filed into an album.

RUNS ENTIRELY ON YOUR DEVICE
Margin has no network code. There is no server, no account, no analytics, no third-party SDK — nothing your photos could be sent to, because there is no code path capable of sending them anywhere. Every comparison happens locally using Apple's own PhotoKit and Vision frameworks.

Built for iPhone and iPad, sharing one engine with the Mac app.
