DeutschKarten is a teaching flashcard app for German. Every card shows you everything at once — no quizzes to fail, no streaks to protect, no pressure.

WHAT'S ON A CARD

• Nouns — article, plural, and the full declension table: nominative, accusative, dative and genitive, singular and plural
• Verbs — Präteritum, Partizip II, the complete present-tense conjugation, which case the verb takes, and whether it is irregular
• Adjectives — comparative form and the opposite
• Every card — an example sentence with its English translation, and text-to-speech for both the word and the sentence

6,000+ CARDS, A1 TO C2

Cards are grouped into decks by word type — verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs & connectors, everyday phrases — and then split by level, so you always study where you are. Sections of 50 keep a sitting short enough to finish.

THREE WAYS TO STUDY

• Decks — read through the cards section by section
• Practice — you get the English meaning and try to recall the German word, then flip the card to check yourself
• Articles — der, die or das? The card stays colourless until you answer, so nothing gives the gender away

Every example sentence in the app was written for it. The grammar — articles, plurals, verb forms, declensions — is checked against the rules of standard German.
