## Description

The Senate has spoken. The legions have sworn their oath. Rome has named you Caesar.

Roman Empire is a story-driven reign: every decree, levy, and campaign leaves a mark on gold, the army, and the love of the people. Rule as Caesar or Augusta. Choose your house. Then try to hold the purple.

A city that answers to you
Walk the map of Rome. From the Palace you set the tax levy. In the Aerarium you move the budget. In the Senate you appoint — and dismiss — the officers of your council. Barracks, stables, and the archery range turn gold into soldiers, horses, and archers.

Decisions with teeth
Grain, order, plague, and the treasury all pull against each other. Spare the provinces and the Aerarium runs dry. Squeeze them and the Forum will not forget. Popularity is not a score to chase. It is the difference between a triumph and being stripped of the purple.

War is not a statistic
Alpine raiders, Gallic warbands, Numidian horse, a Parthian host — each chapter brings a harder enemy. Muster the legions, upgrade Military HQ, then take the field in tactical battles. Win glory and gold. Lose, and Rome will hear of it.

A story that remembers
Branching chapters, council intrigue, public addresses, and endings that follow the reign you actually lived — triumph, a bitter survival, or ruin.
