Poise is a puzzle about balance.

Weights hang from a mobile — the kind Calder made — and your job is to hang them
so that every beam comes level. There is one rule, and this is all of it:

WEIGHT × DISTANCE, equal on both sides of every pivot.

That is the whole game. Everything else is learning to see it quickly.

A LADDER THAT ACTUALLY CLIMBS
135 levels across nine stages, each one harder than the last in a way you can
feel. Three weights and one beam to start. By the end: seven weights, beams
hanging off beams, and boards that look solved when they are not.

THE TRAP THAT MAKES IT A PUZZLE
A beam balances on the ratio of its arms — so more than one pair of weights can
balance it. But the beam above cares about the TOTAL those weights make, not
just that they balance. So a beam can hang perfectly level and still be wrong,
and a tilted top beam usually means a lump of the wrong size further down. Every
board has exactly one answer, which means you never have to guess.

HINTS THAT TEACH
Free, unlimited, and three steps deep. The first says where to look. The second
says how to read it. The third names what is actually wrong. None of them place
a weight for you, because on a board this tightly constrained, one placement
gives away the rest — and you would learn nothing for the next board.

A BONUS PUZZLE EVERY DAY
Harder than anything on the ladder, and a new one every day. Sunday's is
drawn from the most deceptive boards in the bank, and says so.
