## Description

Record an interview in the field, then check quotes against a speaker-labeled transcript with audio linked to every line.

Blitzcribe helps reporters and other interview-driven professionals record, transcribe, and review conversations on their iPhone. Tap a transcript segment to hear the original audio, name the speakers, and share the transcript before heading back to your desk.

Blitzcribe currently requires an invitation. Public account registration is not yet available. Join the waitlist at https://blitzcribe.com.

Built for reporting on the go:
• Record interviews and voice notes, including while the app is in the background.
• Get automatic transcription with speaker labels and timestamps.
• Tap any transcript segment to play the matching audio.
• Assign speaker names and filter the transcript by speaker.
• Adjust playback speed and listen with background playback and lock-screen controls.
• Rename recordings and browse your library by month.
• Share transcripts as plain text, Markdown, or Word-compatible documents.
• Keep pending recordings on your device until upload succeeds, with automatic retries for interrupted uploads.

When you return to your desk, sign in to the companion web app to edit transcript text and review uncertain passages.

An account and an internet connection are required to upload and transcribe recordings. Transcription results may contain errors. Check important quotes against the original audio before publishing.
