Simple SSH is a clean SSH and SFTP client for iPhone and iPad. Save your hosts, open secure terminals, move files, and switch between active connections without losing your place.

SSH terminal

- Run multiple sessions and connect to the same host more than once
- Rename, duplicate, restore, and switch sessions quickly
- Reconnect automatically after network changes or dropped connections
- Set keepalive, timeout, charset, environment variables, and an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy
- Run startup snippets or paste saved commands into the terminal

SFTP file transfer

Hosts and keys

- Sign in with a password, Ed25519 or ECDSA private key, key plus password, or SSH certificate

- Use encrypted OpenSSH private keys

Security

- Check the host-key type and fingerprint before connecting
- Get a clear warning when a trusted host key changes
- Store credentials in the iOS Keychain
- Protect credentials with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode
- Lock the app with a password and optional biometric unlock
- Clear copied terminal text automatically
