## Description

Now with Siri and Shortcuts: stop the fan, speed it up, or ask whether it's a good time to run it — without opening the app. And six panel themes, nixie glow included.

Nightdraft puts your whole-house ventilation fan on your phone, as an instrument panel rather than a web page nobody wants to open.

Speed, airflow, power draw, run timer, and indoor, outdoor and attic temperatures, all on one screen. Speed up, slow down, stop, or add time to the timer with a tap. It refreshes on its own every thirty seconds, so what you're looking at is current.

IS IT EVEN WORTH RUNNING?

A whole-house fan pulls outside air in, so it only cools when it's genuinely cooler out there. Instead of showing you two temperatures to compare in your head, the app reads the difference and tells you: good time to run, marginal gain, or it would warm the house. It makes the same call for your attic, which the fan flushes through the roof vents — worth doing on an evening when the indoor gain is marginal, because a hot attic radiates down through the ceiling for hours.

BUILT FOR A DEVICE ON YOUR OWN NETWORK

• Talks directly to your controller over your home Wi-Fi. No account, no cloud service, no relay in the middle.
• An unreachable controller is never shown as a fan that's switched off. If the app can't reach it, it says so.
• Missing sensors are shown as missing, not guessed at. If your unit shipped without an outdoor probe, you can optionally fill that channel from a weather service — and readings from it are labelled, because a regional forecast is weaker evidence than a probe at your house.
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party code of any kind.

Requires a whole-house fan controller with the AirScape-style local HTTP interface, reachable on your home network. Nightdraft is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any fan manufacturer.
