## Description

Build Hero is the precision scaffolding calculator and statutory inspection register built for working scaffolders, temporary-works coordinators, and site managers. Sketch your elevation in the app — set bays, lifts, and duty class — and the built-in rule engine instantly produces a complete, code-compliant component schedule: every standard, ledger, transom, facade brace, board, and coupler, with unit weights, total steel in kilograms, and lorry-load count. No spreadsheets. No hand-counting. No errors.

The take-off engine follows EN 12811-1 duty classes 1–6 and TG20 tie guidance. Switch on sheeting and the tie grid tightens automatically. Toggle between tube-and-fitting and system scaffold to change bay geometry rules. Every bay's utilisation is checked against its class limit — indicators turn red before you commit to a layout. View the full schedule grouped by component or broken down bay-by-bay, ready for your materials order.

The built-in statutory register keeps your 7-day inspections on track. Log each check with a photo, inspector name, bay reference, and an eight-point defect checklist. The app records the verdict — Pass, Defects, or Fail — ages every entry, and flags overdue inspections on the home screen. A programme Gantt tracks each job through the erect–erected–striking lifecycle, and the Stats screen gives you a compliance summary across all jobs at a glance.

All 14 standard scaffold components — from BS EN 39 tube to BS 2482 boards and BS EN 74-1 Class B right-angle couplers — are catalogued with safe working loads, British Standard references, and per-component inspection checklists. Build Hero works entirely offline: no account, no subscription, no data collected.
