## Description

Ear training built for audio engineers, not musicians. Practice EQ, compression, distortion, reverb, and more on real recordings. 11 modules, all free-play labs included.

Audio IQ is ear training built for audio engineers.

Instead of intervals and chords, you practice recognizing what actually matters in a mix: EQ moves, compression, distortion, reverb, delay, phase issues, limiting, saturation, loudness differences, and codec artifacts. Every exercise plays real recordings, never synthesized test tones, across dozens of genres — classical, jazz, military band, folk, world music, and more.

ELEVEN MODULES
EQ — spot the boosted or cut frequency band
Compression — tell apart subtle, moderate, and hard-squashed dynamics
Distortion — recognize overdrive, fuzz, digital clipping, and bitcrush
Loudness — judge level differences by ear, in dB
Reverb — tell room, hall, plate, and cathedral apart
Delay — judge how long the echo repeats are
Noise & Artifacts — spot hum, hiss, clicks, and pops
Phase & Mono — hear a mix collapse in mono or cancel out of phase
Limiting — feel the difference between compression and a brickwall ceiling
Saturation — dial in warmth from clean to hot
Codec Artifacts — recognize what a mix crushed to a low bitrate sounds like

PRACTICE + LESSONS
Every module has two modes: a multiple-choice Practice quiz to test yourself, and a free-play Lesson lab with live sliders so you can explore each effect at your own pace before or after quizzing.

BUILT TO FIT YOUR LEVEL
Set difficulty once in Settings — Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced — and it applies everywhere, narrowing the gaps as you improve. Track your accuracy and daily streak per module, right on your device.

PRIVACY FIRST
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your progress lives on your device.
