PERMANENT, NOT PAINTED OVER
The text under every black box is removed, not covered. Hidden data — metadata, annotations, form fields, embedded content — is stripped too, so nothing can be recovered by copy-paste or by opening the file in another app.

VERIFIED BEFORE YOU SAVE
After redaction, the output is re-extracted and re-scanned. If anything you approved is still present, the file is held back until you've seen it. You save a document that has been checked, not one you hope is clean.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose a PDF, photo, scan, Word, Excel or PowerPoint file, or an email attachment.
2. RedactWorks highlights every sensitive item it finds, by type.
3. Review the list — keep or remove each item, or ask for changes in plain language.
4. Approve. The redacted file is verified and saved to your phone, ready to share.
