## Description

Point your camera at anything.
Lexique names what it sees, fills in the meaning and an example, and asks you again right before you would forget.

Vocabulary lists don't stick, do they? Unless an exam is coming up, the words never feel useful — and a column of bare text is boring to your brain.

One photo becomes a vocabulary list. Just photograph what is in front of you.

Your desk, your kitchen, the street outside — Lexique finds the objects and labels them right where they are. Tap a word you like and its meaning, definition, and an example sentence are filled in and saved.

■ The words appear on the photo

Every object it recognizes gets a name tag on your photo. You can see at a glance which word belongs to which thing, and after saving, that spot in that photo stays with the word. You remember the context, not a bare string of letters.

■ More than a list of meanings

When you save a word, all of this is filled in for you:

· The meaning in your own language
· A definition written in the language you are learning
· A natural example sentence, with its translation
· Part of speech
· Pronunciation you can play

While choosing words you only see the quick meaning. The details arrive after you save.

■ Asked again right before you forget

Lexique uses FSRS, a spaced repetition algorithm. It calculates the next date for every card so review lands just before the memory fades. A reminder arrives at the time you choose — and not at all on days with nothing due.

There are two kinds of review card:
· See the photo, recall the word
· See the word, recall the meaning

■ Languages

English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), French, Spanish, German.
Choose the language you are learning and the language meanings are shown in, separately.

■ No account

No sign-up, no login, no email.
Your saved words and review history live on your device.
Photos used for analysis are discarded the moment the result is made — they are never stored on a server.

■ Good to know

Photo analysis uses an AI server, free for up to 10 photos per day.
Your vocabulary and reviews are unlimited. The daily limit applies only to analyzing new photos; everything you have already saved always stays.
