AlekSound allows you to create "moods" where one or multiple frequencies and waveforms can work together to form a special sonic backdrop.

Turn your iPhone into a flexible audio frequency generator, from clinical precision to calming sound exploration.

Dial in any frequency

Set any frequency from **20 Hz to 12 kHz**, down to the decimal. Enter an exact value or choose from 12 presets, tuned by default to the chromatic scale at concert pitch (**A = 440 Hz**). Save your own frequencies or polyphonic creations to a mood with a single tap.

Shape the tone

Blend **sine, square, sawtooth, and triangle** waveforms in any combination. Create everything from a clean test tone to a rich, layered drone.

Bend it live

Use the responsive pitch-bend slider to sweep the frequency in real time.

Draw your own pitch and pan curve 

Trace a path with your finger—forward, backward, or anywhere in between. AlekSound transforms your gesture into a looping, breathing pitch animation with a soft glowing trail.
