## Description

This app is a simulator for education and training only. It is not a medical device and must not be used for patient monitoring, diagnosis or treatment.

Code Blue Monitor is a patient monitor and defibrillator simulator built for NCLS® (an emergency response course for nurses in Japan) and AHA ACLS training. The iPad sits in front of the learners as the monitor; the iPhone is the instructor's remote. Change the rhythm and vital signs from your hand, and the monitor changes — so learners notice the deterioration themselves instead of being told "the blood pressure is 80."

■ FREE VERSION
Four rhythms (sinus rhythm, VF, pulseless VT, asystole), defibrillation (up to 2 shocks per scenario), vital sign control and the built-in patient chart. The two-device setup with the iPhone remote is fully available in the free version.

■ FULL VERSION (one-time in-app purchase)
- 35 ECG rhythms (every AV block, ST elevation, hyperkalemia, paced rhythm and more)
- Unlimited shocks / transcutaneous pacing
- 12-lead ECG with automated interpretation (selectable infarct location)
- 26 blood gas cases (linked to scenario presets)
- 4 chest X-rays, 3 echo clips, and your own images
- 28 patient-chart cases (shared with our SIM-Chart simulated EHR; advance the phase and records and results arrive step by step)
- 6 breath sounds and 6 heart sounds (heart sounds follow the ECG beats)
- 6 pupil findings with a working light reflex
- Ambient sounds (siren, in-hospital emergency call, Code Blue announcement)
- Arterial line and EtCO₂
- Alarm limits, scenario presets, event log export

The iPad (monitor) and iPhone (remote) connect directly to each other. No Wi-Fi router, no internet, no account. Enter the same 4-digit room code on both and you are ready. Everything also works on a single device.
