## Description

Vulcano is the southernmost of the seven Aeolian Islands, a short crossing north of Sicily — a living volcano of black sand, sulphur steam and slow days by the sea. This is its field guide: a calm, offline companion for the time you spend on the island — independent, and curated on the ground.

Everything is built around four ways into the island:

• Journey to Vulcano — Vulcano has no airport; you arrive by sea. Ferry and hydrofoil routes from Catania, Palermo and Naples, with the practical notes for the crossing.

An illustrated island map sets every point in its context — the whole island and the town of Porto Levante — so you can see where a beach, a harbour or a trailhead actually is.
