## Description

Turn the apps you open every day into 10-second brain workouts. Solve a quick puzzle before Instagram, TikTok, or any guarded app opens. Think before you scroll.

Most apps are designed to be opened without thinking. Cognitta turns those moments into a daily cognitive workout.

Every time you open a guarded app, Cognitta steps in with a quick problem — math, logic, sequences, patterns. Solve it, and carry on to the app. It takes seconds. But those seconds add up to a sharper, more deliberate mind.

Your brain is a muscle. Cognitta is the gym.

Most people solve 5–20 problems a day without even trying — just by going about their normal phone use. Cognitta fits cognitive training into moments that already exist in your day, no extra time required.

What kind of problems?

Mental arithmetic — fast calculation to keep your number sense sharp
Logic — riddles and deductive reasoning
Number sequences — pattern recognition and working memory
Patterns — spot the rule, predict what comes next
Visual memory & search — hold what you just saw, find what's different
Inhibition — resist the reflex answer when your brain wants a shortcut

Every problem is randomized, so your brain never gets to autopilot through the same one twice.

How it works
1. Choose which apps to guard — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit, or any app you open on autopilot
2. Grant Screen Time permission (Apple requires this for the guard to work)
3. Open a guarded app as you normally would
4. Cognitta steps in with a problem — solve it in seconds
5. You're through — carry on to the app you opened

Track your progress
Cognitive fitness score — one number that grows with every rep
Skill levels — watch your accuracy per category climb
Daily solve streak — build a habit of consistent mental exercise
Lifetime solves — watch the reps add up

Cognitta Pro
Cognitta is free to download and use. Cognitta Pro unlocks guarding for more apps beyond your first free app, with monthly, annual (7-day free trial), and lifetime options.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account; subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Built for privacy
Cognitta's problem-gating runs entirely on your device using Apple's Screen Time API — no account required, and which apps you guard, your scores, and your settings never leave your phone. We use a standard analytics tool to understand how the app is used (like app opens and feature usage); it's never used for ads or to track you across other apps. Purchase and subscription data is processed by our payments provider to manage your subscription. See the App Privacy section on this page for exactly what's collected.

Cognitta uses Apple's Family Controls framework (the Screen Time API) for one purpose: to detect when you open an app you've chosen to guard, and to present the problem before you continue. It cannot see what you do inside other apps, read their content, or track your activity.

Who is Cognitta for?
Anyone who wants to stay mentally sharp without carving out extra time in their day. If you already pick up your phone dozens of times a day, you already have everything you need for a daily cognitive workout.
