## Description

A big goal never arrives overnight. Getting one small day right — that's all this app does.

SmallButBig turns a list into a timeline — decide when, track how long it took, and see the gap.

■ One thing at a time
· Tasks can't overlap. Drop one on a busy hour and it snaps to the nearest free slot.
· Only one timer runs at a time. Start something else and the running one is settled first.

■ Planning in three stages
· Someday → a date → a date and time. You never have to invent an hour you don't have.
· Undated work waits in the inbox; day-only work waits in that day's drawer.

■ Tracking has to be light to last
· No need to keep the app open — only a start and an end time are stored, and the Lock Screen counts.
· Most things take about as long as planned — "Same as planned" is one tap.
· If the timer already filled it in, finishing doesn't ask again.

■ An honest record
· Even off plan, your best effort still leaves a number.
· Actual time is asked when you finish a task, not when you create it.
· Unfinished work rolls down to today, but the original plan stays frozen in its week. Last week's slip doesn't become this week's score.
· A week reads as two numbers — the share of planned time you spent and the share of tasks you finished. Three 5-minute tasks done and one 3-hour task missed is 75% by count, not by time.

■ When the plan breaks
· Finish early and the card shrinks, freeing the rest of the block; run over and the overflow shows below it.
· Split a card and each checklist item becomes a real task. Finished ones keep their slot; unfinished ones drop their time to the inbox.
· Scattered pieces merge back into one, with a preview of what you'd lose.
· Repeating events edit as "this one" or "this and all following".

■ What a day is made of
· Alerts — at the start, 5/10/30/60 minutes before, or a time you pick.
· Transit blocks — a mode and duration attach travel time ahead of the event. Split into legs (walk → bus → subway), each with notes.
· Subtasks — attach steps or things to bring, and tick them off on the card.
· Deadlines — when you'll do it and when it's due are separate axes. Move the date; the deadline stays.
· Habits — counted by date, so a day you never scheduled an hour still fills the grid.
· Pooled tasks — stock "Workout ×10" and each drag onto the timeline spends one.

■ Several projects at once
· The whole folder tree lies open — drag straight into any depth, never across two screens.
· Big work nests as tasks under tasks — split as fine as you like, nothing leaves the project.
· Projects with start and end dates line up as a Gantt chart, today marked and days left per bar.
· You see "3 of 7" and hours spent without opening a folder. When a stretch is over, file the lot into a month folder.

■ Looking back
· Five categories: Focus, Admin, Growth, People and Rest. One axis — what that time was to you — so the weekly report becomes next week's decision.
· When a week ends, planned and actual hours stand side by side, by category and by project.
· Improving? The last 6 weeks against the 6 before, and months of habits at a glance.
· Where the time leaked: open a project parent to child and follow the hours down.

■ Out of your way
· Year → month → week → day. Two fingers move between the overview and the hour.
· iPhone and iPad share the same data over iCloud.
· 15 languages, switched instantly inside the app — no reinstall.
· The Mac app is sold separately on the Mac App Store.

■ Requires a purchase
