Voice notes are fast to send and slow to receive. You can't skim a 45-second recording, search one, or triage twelve in a crowded inbox.

VOICE fixes the receiving end. Every message you send is transcribed on your iPhone while you're still talking, and the transcript travels with it. Your recipient reads it in a second or presses play. Both, if they want.

VOICE also supports direct and group conversations, photos and videos, replies, forwarding, offline sending, playback-speed controls, and server-enforced block and report tools.

Transcription happens on your iPhone. Audio is never uploaded for transcription. When Apple's on-device language model is unavailable, transcript text only may be securely processed to remove filler words and false starts.
