## Description

Place tiles, build startups, and out swim the Shark in a paper-and-ink boardroom. Every merger makes the front page. Fully offline. One purchase removes ads forever.

The market opens with an empty grid. By the closing bell, every tile on the board belongs to somebody — and the largest fortune wins.

Buyout is a strategy game about building companies and taking them over, told as a broadsheet newspaper. Place a tile, build a startup, and buy shares while they're cheap. When two companies touch, the bigger one swallows the smaller — and the front page tells the story: who got paid, who got wiped out, and who saw it coming.

EVERY SHARE IS A FIGHT FOR THE BONUS
When a company is taken over, its top shareholder collects a majority bonus and the runner-up collects a smaller one. Hold a company alone and you collect both. Every merger is really a fight over those seats — holding one share more than a rival can be worth six figures.

SELL, CONVERT, OR HOLD YOUR NERVE
After every takeover, your defunct shares must go somewhere. Take the cash. Convert into the survivor and stay in the majority race. Or hold worthless paper, betting the name gets re-founded. The market always asks; you always have to answer.

THE MERGER DECK
Twenty-seven cards can turn a clean deal sideways: regulators delay it, boards block it, golden parachutes open, activist investors come calling. Tune the deck in settings — or turn it off for a pure game.

FOUR KINDS OF RIVAL
From the casual desk to the Shark — an AI that simulates thousands of futures before it moves. Play solo against up to five rivals in any mix, or setup two human players and pass the device for a friendly competition.
