Tap to swim up. Stop tapping and you sink. That is the whole of it — everything else down there is just the Trench.

A one-thumb dive into a winding sea trench with no bottom. The rock narrows, the light goes, and the eels are not hostile so much as poorly timed.

EIGHT WAYS DOWN
Endless — the trench, forever. Free.
Daily — one trench, the same for everyone, changing at midnight. Free.
Hardcore — eels from the surface, and no shells to save you.
One Breath — one tank of air, and it is going down.
Blackout — a lantern, and whatever it reaches.
Tide — the sea gets heavy, then lets go.
Sprint — sixty seconds. Go deep.
Zen — no eels, no clock, no reason to hurry.

TEN SWIMMERS
A dolphin, a turtle, a narwhal who points the way home whether you asked or not, a duck who should not be down here and is absolutely delighted to be, and six more. Every one of them swims exactly the same. Pick whoever you like the look of.

SEVEN WATERS, FIVE SOUNDTRACKS
From the Trench's cold blue to Neon's electric dark. Nothing is a recording — the music is built out of oscillators while you play, so it can answer the game. The pad lifts as your air runs out.
