## Description

Not another step counter. Face Your Steps works out the latest moment you can set off and still reach today's goal, using the pace you actually walk at.

Most step apps show you what already happened. Face Your Steps tells you what to do about it, while there is still time to do it.

It answers three questions at any point in the day: how many steps you still need, how long that will take at your own walking pace, and by when you have to set off.

The latest start time

Your pace comes from the walks Apple Health has recorded over the past two weeks, with a small buffer for traffic lights and short breaks. When the app says about 24 minutes, it means your 24 minutes.

Your day does not run in a straight line either. If you sit at a desk all afternoon and walk every evening, a progress bar has you behind schedule at 3 p.m., even though the goal is perfectly reachable. Face Your Steps asks whether you can still make it instead.

Reminders you might actually keep switched on

The app does not nag you by the hour. It gets in touch when the situation changes: once when the day starts getting tight, and once at the last moment you could still make it. If your steps overtake the plan, the pending reminder is rebuilt rather than delivered.

You can act straight from the notification:
• I'm going now
• Remind me in 20 minutes
• Pause today

A tone you pick yourself

Neutral, Direct or Tough. Direct means clear and firm. None of the three will insult you, shame you, or judge your health.

Room for how days really go

• Quiet hours, so nothing arrives at night
• Rest days that do not count against you
• A limit on how many reminders one day may send
• One tap to pause today or change today's goal
• Seven days of history, and a note on what has actually been working for you

There is no account and nothing to sign up for. Your health data stays on your device and is never sent to a server.

Face Your Steps is not a medical app and does not give medical advice.
