Straw Draw is a focused sketching app for iPad, built for Apple Pencil. Draw freely, practice with guided lessons, and keep your artwork in a local gallery.

DRAW
• Pressure-sensitive PencilKit brushes and custom raster brushes
• QuickShape: draw and hold to straighten lines and refine shapes
• Layers with opacity, blend modes, reorder, merge, and duplicate
• Choose a canvas background or export with transparency
• Import photos, then move, scale, and rotate them

LEARN
• Follow step-by-step drawing guides
• Practice shapes, ellipses, shading, and folds
• Bundled lessons work offline
• Download additional lessons and resume saved progress

KEEP AND EXPORT
• Automatic local saves with a previous saved version for recovery
• Restore artwork from Recently Deleted
• Export and import editable .strawdraw documents with ink, raster paint, photos, and layer settings
• Export flattened PNG images
• Search and sort your gallery

SKETCH TOGETHER
• Start a room and share its 6-character code to exchange live pen strokes
• No sign-in required; Sign in with Apple is optional for your online identity
• Live sharing currently has limitations with photos, raster paint, undo, and reconnecting. Keep editable backups for complete artwork transfer. Your local gallery does not synchronize across iPads.

Straw Draw has no ads or analytics. Drawing and bundled lessons work without an account. Online features register an anonymous device identity, and you can delete that online account from the app.
