Sing into your phone and your voice becomes a live line on the screen, drawn 43 times a second against the notes you're aiming for. Centre it and it glows. Drift and Lala tells you which way to lean, and by how much.

REAL PITCH DETECTION, NOT A GUESS

Lala runs YIN — the pitch-detection algorithm built for voices — in real time, on your phone. No lag, no internet, and no score you can't trust.

TUNED TO YOUR RANGE, NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S

Before anything else, Lala measures your lowest and highest comfortable note. Every exercise is then retuned to your voice, so nothing is ever out of reach or too easy to bother with.

PRACTICE THAT PLAYS LIKE A GAME

Eighteen exercises across five units. Star a take to unlock the next one. Three paces, so you can slow a phrase down until it's right, then speed it up when it is.

SING WHOLE SONGS

Ten melodies scored phrase by phrase, from "Dead on!" down to "Ouch". Lala forgives the octave, so a low voice and a high one can sing the same song and both get their due.

HEAR YOURSELF IMPROVE

Every take is recorded on your phone. Play "then vs now" and hear a month of practice in ten seconds.

CLIMB THE RANKS

Five rungs between your first note and the top one — Rookie, Natural, Standout, Headliner, and Lala, which is named after the app because we ran out of bigger compliments.
