Flash cards that listen. Your child reads the card out loud — and the deck turns itself.

Sight-word practice usually needs a grown-up to hold the cards. Say the Sight Words replaces the card-holder: it listens while your child reads aloud and flips to the next card the moment they say it right. No taps, no swipes, no hovering required.

Everything happens right on the iPad. Speech recognition runs entirely on-device, so the app works in airplane mode and nothing your child says ever leaves the room.

HOW IT WORKS
• Three decks: letters A–Z (shown big and small), numbers, and nearly 70 kindergarten sight words
• Read the card aloud and it advances by itself — a pop, a gold star, and the word said back in a clear voice
• Your own words: type or paste this week's spelling list and the deck reads it, up to 200 words
• Shuffle the deck for a fresh order every time
• Not sure of a word? Tap the card to hear it spoken
• Sight Word Sprint: 15 words against the clock — race your own best time
• A parental gate keeps anything meant for adults away from little fingers

It looks like the classroom: navy felt, cream sentence-strip cards ruled under the word, one crayon color per card, and a row of pockets that fills with gold stars as your child reads.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY
Say the Sight Words collects nothing. Not "very little" — nothing.
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no accounts
• The microphone is used only for on-device speech recognition (the open-source Vosk engine) — audio is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere
• No internet: the app makes zero network connections and works fully in airplane mode
• Your word list, best times, and settings stay on the iPad, period
