Sky Invaders is a love letter to the golden age of the arcade — chunky pixel art, a four-colour alien formation, the iconic march that speeds up as their numbers thin, and a bonus UFO streaking across the top of the screen for the brave. But this isn't just nostalgia. Eight escalating stages each introduce a new twist: aliens that split and converge, breathing formations, crossfire from mirrored squadrons, screen-sweeping dive-bombers, and a final onslaught that ramps relentlessly toward chaos.
