## Description

Every cycle doubles. 2^1 is two rounds; 2^20 is a million. Collapse the grid, spend the Entropy, and climb back faster. Free to 2^8 — no timers, no energy, no currency.

A glowing Data-Node races a procedurally generated circuit loop, collecting
Qubits. You do not steer it. You build the machine that makes it faster.

A cycle at tier T runs 2^T rounds — the journey into binary infinity. Clear
every round and the next power of two opens. Tier 1 is two rounds. Tier 20 is
over a million.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO
• Take a break whenever you want — the cycle freezes exactly where it stands,
  timer and all, and picks up mid-stride when you engage again
• Place gates on the loop — amplify, accelerate, resonate, fork — and watch a
  build compound into something absurd
• Collect augments when it suits you: the grid banks what you earn instead of
  interrupting the run to hand it over
• Overclock at the moment it matters

FOUR LAYERS THAT OUTLIVE EACH OTHER
• Qubits reset every cycle
• The Lattice, a skill tree bought with Coherence, resets on Collapse
• The Substrate and its boards never reset
• Board mastery never resets, and no single board can max it — six boards at a
  middling depth beat any one board played forever

SIX CIRCUIT BOARDS
Rectilinear, ring bus, figure-of-eight crossbar, inward spiral, bridged dual
loop, serpentine mesh. Each is a different topology, a different rule and a
different palette, and the board you pick changes how a build has to be made.

DRAWN, NOT PAINTED
The backdrop is a real printed circuit board generated in Metal with no
textures: solder mask over FR-4, ground pours, buses routed at 45 degrees, QFP
and SOIC packages, chip passives, crystals, chokes and blinking status LEDs —
every one with its own silkscreen outline and reference designator.
